April 8th: Prayer and Silence – Stepping Into the Throne Room

This month, we’ll delve into the vital disciplines of prayer and silence, discovering their role in Christlikeness. Together, we will learn how to enter the Throne Room and commune with the Triune God, allowing His presence to transform and empower us.

These monthly gatherings will fall on the second Tuesday of each month.

One of the most incredible moments in history is the time between the Resurrection and the ascension - the time that Jesus was on the move, appearing to people in magnificent ways. We'll see that in this four-week exegetical series on Luke 24 walks from the resurrection to Christ’s ascension with important lessons in each resurrection sighting.

W will also have a student worship and pray event on April 16 in light of Good Friday coming up on April 18, and our upcoming Easter Weekend service.

At Westside, we are committed to meeting people in their place of pain, and because we know that trauma impacts so many, we offer a one-day Trauma Competent Caregiver course. This training is for anyone who wants to demonstrate compassion, love, and empathy to their community.

This one-day training offers insight into the impact of trauma on individuals and how it manifests in attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. You will leave this workshop with helpful techniques and approaches to care for individuals who have experienced trauma.

Check-in starts at 8:30 a. Training will begin promptly at 9a and end promptly at 3p.

Special Needs Respite Night is a dedicated evening of fun designed for our special friends, ages birth to young adulthood. During our time together, we curate a delightful experience filled with interactive crafts, enjoyable games, heartwarming songs, and a wholesome dinner. This invaluable ministry offers parents the gift of time, allowing them to enjoy a date night or create memorable moments with their other children at home.

Parent Dedication is a special moment set aside for parents to dedicate themselves, their child, and their parenting efforts to God.
