Sundays, January 12- February 9 | 9:30-10:30a | WFC Lenexa Room 201
The apostle John wrote the book of Revelation to a certain group of people in a particular place at a specific time. Although it was written to them, it was also written for us. Hope in Jesus takes a chapter-by-chapter view of Revelation rather than a line-by-line deep dive, helping us practically understand what God wants to say to us today through this extraordinary book written thousands of years ago. Believers will be reminded that they are uniquely wired and uniquely placed in this moment in history as part of God’s big plan to push back darkness and to establish light. Christ has overcome, and in Him we, too, are the overcomes!

Women's Lifestudy • Revealing Revelation
Fridays, Sept 20-Nov 15 | 9-10:30a | Erin Ragan's Home
Revelation does not stand alone in the Bible—rather, it’s a culmination of God’s words throughout the entire Old and New Testaments. Revelation was written because God wants us to know what the future holds. For Christians, the prophetic truths within provide wisdom, reassurance, and discernment—while for unbelievers, Revelation is a plea to receive God’s grace while there is still time.

Women's Lifestudy • Myths of Motherhood
3rd Tuesday | Sept 17-May 20 | 6:30-8P | WFC Lenexa Room 218
Why am I not a more joyful parent? Why aren’t my kids turning out as I expected? Why do I always feel as if I’m not doing enough for my children? Is Parenting Supposed to Be This Difficult? As a mother of six, Leslie Leyland Fields knows firsthand the insecurities and questions of rearing children. In Parenting Is Your Highest Calling, she tackles nine myths about parenting, including:
• Children make you happy and bring great fulfillment.
• You will always feel love for your child.
• Your child’s behavior can measure your success as a parent.
• There is one “right” biblical model for family life.
• Good parenting will result in happy children.
Through a close look at God’s own life as a parent and stories from real-life families, Fields highlights the transforming biblical truths that release parents from the grip of mistaken assumptions. Fresh, provocative insights will lead you to a deeper understanding of God and yourself—an understanding that lifts the weight of guilt and fear and frees you to love your children as God intended.
Childcare is available. Drop-off begins at 6:15p each evening.

We will also have the opportunity to come together and pray for the people in our lives who have chosen to turn away from God's best for them.
